Great News! We reached our goal and raised over £20,000 to start our new group for young women! We are now curretntly recruiting for our Young Women’s Group Lead! Thank you so much for getting us there!
We are now looking to raise another £3000 which will go towards our activity budget for the group.

Why the Group Matters:
We have been speaking to young women accessing our services, and they have told us they want a dedicated safe space where they can gain confidence, make new friends, take part in activities and speak out about what matters to them. They hope to provide one another with mutual support and build power together, and we’re committed to making that happen through a new Young Women’s Empowerment Group.
We have seen a huge increase in numbers of young people in our service over the last year, including lots more young women. Together with these young women, we want to build a space where young refugee women can find solace, solidarity and connection.
What the Group Will Offer:
Weekly Meetups: The group will work towards building confidence, speaking up, and supporting one another as they step into their power. Activities: From connecting with nature and being outdoors to boxing and yoga, we’ll engage the group in the activities that interest them. Transport Support: Your donations will also help to cover transport costs, ensuring no obstacle stands in the way of local young women being able to access the group.
